To imagine – to see it in the light of the century in which we live; its inner workings, its dramas, its hopes too. Find – the beauty of sublime music that has been all too forgotten, and that makes us feel the great modal sweetness of a distant West.
It’s always necessary to take a step back and look at what’s hidden in a poetic and musical tradition of yesteryear, with fresh eyes and ears – as with every generation – and to immerse oneself in it attentively. You can’t hear the song of our time with your nose glued to the present.
The search for an image that is a mirror, a reflection of beauty and extreme gentleness, in order to bring it into our own time, to make a flower blossom in the garden of listening…
This is how the great desire for the Ymage box set was born, the new double-album by Michaël.le Grébil Liberg – a Sub Rosa and Thödol Records co-production – which he will be presenting at the Erasmushouse on the occasion of the Sub Rosa- Nuits Beau-Tas evenings.
