Antiquarian Library and Documentation Centre
The Erasmus House, in its capacity as a study centre, regularly welcomes researchers to give conferences and produce publications.
Our collection of rare books includes a vast amount of works by Erasmus and other humanists. This antiquarian library also has a documentation centre. The latter comprises volumes dedicated to the history of humanism, Renaissance art, the history of Anderlecht and the Beguine movement. To consult our catalogues and works from our antiquarian or modern collection, please make an appointment: info@erasmushouse.museum.
Latin course & publications
A Latin course is given every week and provides an opportunity to scrutinize ancient writers in their original language.
The Museum has also brought out hitherto unpublished translations by the Humanist and works dedicated to the history of books during the Renaissance.
